Trees in Loppington Village Conservation Area
Trees are an integral part of the character or appearance of conservation areas and are protected even though they may not be covered by a specific Tree Preservation Order.
Loppington Village is a conservation area and therefore anyone proposing to carry out works to a tree within the Loppington Village Conservation Area must give at least six weeks’ notice to Shropshire Council.
It is a criminal offence to carry out works to a tree in a conservation area where consent has been refused or where notice was required and not served on the local planning authority.
